{"id":21193,"date":"2012-10-02T11:53:22","date_gmt":"2012-10-02T16:53:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/?p=21193"},"modified":"2012-10-12T16:34:59","modified_gmt":"2012-10-12T21:34:59","slug":"colombia-attorney-general-reassigned-the-colmenares-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/2012\/10\/02\/colombia-attorney-general-reassigned-the-colmenares-case\/","title":{"rendered":"Colombia Attorney General reassigned the Colmenares case"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Colombia Attorney General, Eduardo Montealegre Lynett, has received a document from The Sectional Prosecutor 11 assigned to the Unit of Life, Antonio Luis Gonz\u00e1lez, in which he requested that the prosecution for Luis Andr\u00e9s Colmenares death, under his responsibility, be reassigned to another Prosecutor, arguing personal reasons and lack of security for himself and his family.<\/p>\n<p>Today, the Office of the Colombia Attorney General ordered to immediately reassign the Colmenares prosecution carried out by 11 Sectional Prosecutor&#8217;s Office in the Unit of Life, transferring to the 4<sup>th<\/sup> Delegated Prosecutor before Supreme Court of Justice, Mrs. Martha Luc\u00eda Zamora.<\/p>\n<p>With regard to the situation of the Prosecutor Antonio Luis Gonz\u00e1lez\u2019s security, the Attorney General\u2019s Victims and Witnesses Protection Programme is allowed to report:<\/p>\n<p>1. Security measures requested by Prosecutor 11, Antonio Luis Gonzalez, were implemented from June 14, 2012.<\/p>\n<p>2. The Prosecutor Antonio Luis Gonzalez has, in his security scheme, an armored vehicle level III and three escorts from the Protection Programme who accompany him on all his displacements.<\/p>\n<p>3.
