{"id":21104,"date":"2012-09-17T17:14:45","date_gmt":"2012-09-17T22:14:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/?p=21104"},"modified":"2012-09-18T12:41:17","modified_gmt":"2012-09-18T17:41:17","slug":"anncol-editor-has-been-sentenced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/2012\/09\/17\/anncol-editor-has-been-sentenced\/","title":{"rendered":"Anncol editor has been sentenced"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 7\u00b0 Special Circuit Court in Bogot\u00e1, acting as Presiding Court, has passed a conviction on Joaqu\u00edn P\u00e9rez Becerra, editor of the \u201cAgencia de Noticias Nueva Colombia \u2013 Anncol\u201d to 96 months of imprisonment and 2.700 Minimum Monthly Salaries for the offense of aggravated criminal association.<\/p>\n<p>Last September 11, said Court has announced the ruling to Perez Becerra for the abovementioned offence.<\/p>\n<p>In oral trial carried out to P\u00e9rez Becerra, the 19\u00b0 Prosecutor\u2019s Office assigned to the Unit against Terrorism has proved connections between this individual and \u201cFarc\u201d guerrilla group through technical, documentary and testimonial proofs.<\/p>\n<p>Once known the sentence, the prosecutor\u2019s office has lodged an appeal against the decision to search for a greater total.
