{"id":20692,"date":"2012-08-10T14:05:55","date_gmt":"2012-08-10T19:05:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/?p=20692"},"modified":"2012-08-22T08:41:49","modified_gmt":"2012-08-22T13:41:49","slug":"legalized-arrests-of-alleged-euros-forgers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiscalia.gov.co\/colombia\/en\/2012\/08\/10\/legalized-arrests-of-alleged-euros-forgers\/","title":{"rendered":"Legalized arrests of alleged Euros forgers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 49 Penal Judge in Bogot\u00e1, as supervisory judge, decreed the arrest legalization of\u00a0\u00a0 two of the members of an organization devoted to foreign currency counterfeit that could be put into the national and international market.<\/p>\n<p>During the arrest legalization hearing, the Director of the National Unit of Intellectual Property, \u00a0Silvia Montoya, said that in the house of the accused were found $1.204.500 Euros forged in one hundred banknotes and $1.031 U.S. Dollars in 20 and 100 banknotes.<\/p>\n<p>Also, during the arrests in flagrancy, it was found plates, printers,\u00a0computers, USB, inks, printed paper, and forged Euros and Dollars banknotes totally finished and ready to circulate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese elements were aimed to manufacture counterfeited banknotes with laser prints.
