“Progress in case solving” is the indicator that gives an account on the procedural results of the Office of the Attorney General regarding cases that are processed through the ordinary jurisdiction.

The Office of the Attorney General takes into account, as an indicator of progress in case solving, the cases in which it has been possible to clearly establish the circumstances of manner, time and place in which the crime occurred and at least, when the person responsible for the conduct has been identified, and when there is a reasonable inference about his/her authorship or participation in the facts and when a Supervisory Judge has issued an arrest warrant against the author. Likewise, the indicator includes the cases in which an accusation has been pronounced, the indictment has been presented (cases in trial) or a sentence has been passed.
