The evidence provided by a prosecutor from the so-called Unidad de Vida of the Sectional Office in Bolívar allowed a judge to sentence Juan Pablo Castilla Pardo, alias El Tripita or El Flaquito, responsible for the crime of aggravated homicide, to 33 years and 4 months in prison.

According to the investigation, on March 24, 2015, the now convicted man, 28, was part of the illegal armed organization Clan Úsuga. He was the one who shot a 32-year-old man in the Fredonia neighborhood in Cartagena. The victim worked as a motorcycle taxi driver and died at the scene.

The decision determined that Castilla Pardo is disbarred from the right and practice of public functions for 20 years and orders his arrest to serve the sentence
